Top goalscorer Thierry Henry netted an amazing 228 goals in 377 games for the Gunners and grabbed 5 major trophies in his time at the North London club.
Second on the list is the irrepressible Ian Wright with 185 goals in 288 games. The larger than life character took Highbury by storm and became the clubs top goalscorer in 1997 when he scored against Bolton Wanderers and unveiled a famous t-shirt to mark the moment. In typical Wright style he actually revealed the shirt a goal too early and had only levelled the long standing record! Wright went on to grab a hat-trick, so did break the record in the same match!
The player Wright overtook is now third on the all time goalscoring list with 178 goals in 396 games. Cliff Bastin scored most of his goals as an outside left and not an out and out striker so his tally is quite remarkable. 'Boy' Bastin played for the North London club between 1929–1947.
