Arsenal winner v Manchester United in 2002 - Sylvain Wiltord - Title Winning Goal - Double 2002 - Classic Book Cover Poster (Various Sizes)
This print is the perfect gift for any Arsenal fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This version depicts the only goal of a title decider at Old Trafford in 2002. Arsenal only needed a point to win the league title but United would take the title race to the final day with a win.
Arsenal however won the match with the only goal of the game and became Champions.
The goal was scored in the 56th when Sylvain Wiltord released the tireless Freddie Ljungberg who took the ball past Roy Keane before shooting at goal. United keeper Fabien Barthez parried the shot into the onrushing Wiltord who stroked the rebound home first time.
The result came four days after the Gunners had lifted the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over London rivals Chelsea in Cardiff. Arsenal had completed yet another historic Double under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.
The title of the book “Pushed out by Barthez, Wiltorrrrrrd!” is taken from the live Sky commentary.
Each poster will be printed, lovingly wrapped and securely sealed into a postal tube before being safely delivered to your door! PLEASE NOTE: The poster can be resized to any measurement, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
