Lincoln got off to a perfect start when Ollie Turton turned the ball into his own net in the first minute to give The Imps a 1-0 lead. Blackpool struck back ten minutes before half time when Dougall scored his first of the afternoon to level the game. Within ten minutes of the second half Dougall fired home again from the edge of the box to give The Tangerines the lead. Blackpool held on to win 2-1 and were promoted to the Championship.
