It was the first win for Albion against the Reds since 1984. The goal came in the 56th minute as Pascal Groß played a ball to the far post which Dan Burn was able to head back across the box. Leandro Trossard deflected the ball onto the swinging boot of Steven Alzate and the ball looped into the goal.
