This version illustrates the thunderous volley by Robbie Blake for Burnley against Manchester United in 2009. It was the Clarets first top-flight match at Turf Moor for 33 years and produced a memorable win against the Premier League champions.
The only goal of the game came in the 19th minute as a Stephen Jordan cross was half cleared by Patrice Evra toward the edge of the area. Blake strode into the box, as the ball dropped, and unleashed an unstoppable volley that beat Ben Foster at his near post.
Just before half time Brian Jensen saved a Michael Carrick penalty to maintain the home sides lead. Burnley held on in the second half as United pushed for an equaliser. When Alan Wiley blew the full time whistle the home crowd erupted in celebration of Burnley's first ever Premier League win.
The title of the book 'Top Class… Premier League Class' is taken from the television commentary by Martin Tyler.
