An iconic cricket moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This edition illustrates all ten wickets taken by England to win the 2017 Women’s World Cup Final. The match was played at Lords in front of a sell out crowd of approximately 24,000.
In a close match England posted 228 for 7 in their 50 overs with Nat Sciver top scoring with 51.
England had India in trouble at 43 - 2 before Punam Raut (86) and Harmanpreet Kaur (51) put on 95 together. Kaur was finally caught by Tammy Beaumont off the bowling of Alex Hartley, making the score 138 - 3. Raut and Veda Krishnamurthy then added 53 runs before Raut was trapped lbw by player of the match Anya Shrubsole, who ended with impressive figures of 6 for 46. The score was now 191 - 4 and England sensed blood taking the remaining six wickets for only 28 runs.
India were all out for 219 and England were World Champions for the fourth time in their history, winning by nine runs (the second closest final in the history of the tournament). All that remained was for Heather Knight to lift the trophy in front of a delirious home crowd.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
