This poster is the perfect gift for any Derby County fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.

This edition illustrates the stunning solo goal by debutant Paulo Wanchope in a league match at Old Trafford between Man Utd and Derby County in 1997.

Fighting for survival the Rams were underdogs against title chasing United. However Derby stunned their hosts by taking a two goal lead in the first half. Ashley Ward opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Wanchope scored County's second... and what a goal it was. The Costa Rican picked the ball up in his own half and ran directly toward the United area. Taking on the Manchester United team single handedly, Wanchope strode into the box and shot past Schmeichel. United pulled a goal back early in the second half through Eric Cantona but Dean Sturridge restored the two goal lead in the 75th minute only for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to reply instantly. Derby County held on to record a famous 3-2 win at Old Trafford in a game that will always be remembered for Wanchope's amazing individual effort.

The title of the book 'What a fantastic goal by the Costa Rican!' is taken from the BBC Match of the Day commentary by the legendary John Motson.

Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
