There was late drama when Victor Lindelof was shown a red card before having it downgraded to a yellow following a VAR check. United then pulled back a late consolation goal from Marcus Rashford but Wolves held on.
The final whistle blew and Molineux exploded with noise as Wolverhampton Wanderers reached their first FA Cup Semi Final in 21 years.
