Alex Mitchell took control and passed out to Ollie Lawrence who quickly slipped the ball to Fin Smith who drew a tackle before releasing Elliot Daly. Daly had curved his run to perfection as he burst between the French defence and crossed the line to put England on the cusp of a famous victory.
Fin Smith slotted the extra points and England took a one point lead, 26 - 25. However Smith kicked just before the clock turned red, giving France one more chance to snatch a victory. If they could win the ball from the kick off then Les Bleus could still win. England made no mistake as they secured the ball and kicked to touch to secure a dramatic win at Twickenham.
