This edition illustrates the decisive last minute penalty by Exeter Chiefs captain Joe Simmonds in the Champions Cup Final 2020 against Racing 92. The Chiefs roared into a first half lead of 21-12. However in the second half the French side fought back and with the score at 28-27 in the 75th minute Exeter forced a turnover inches from the try line. Exeter held on to the ball and won a penalty with less than a minute to play which Simmonds knocked over to clinch the Chiefs first ever European title. When the final whistle was finally blown (after a lot of confusion with the match clock!) the scoreline was 31-27 to the English side and Exeter Chiefs could celebrate.
