An iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.

This version depicts the stunning winner by Graeme Sharp for Everton against Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Anfield back in 1984. Everton hadn't won at Anfield since 1970. The Blues were finding form after losing their opening two games of the season and underlined their championship credentials with a second win over the Reds in two months, following a Charity Shield win at Wembley in August. The decisive moment arrived shortly after half-time when Graeme Sharp controlled Gary Stevens' lofted pass ahead of Mark Lawrenson and thundered a 25-yard volley beyond Bruce Grobbelaar to condemn the home side to a fourth defeat of the season and provide Evertonians with genuine evidence that the Merseyside balance of power was shifting.

The title of the book “The Evertonians have gone berserk” is taken from the fantastic commentary by John Motson for the BBC as Everton fans invaded the pitch to celebrate the wonder goal.

Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
