France were unbeaten and faced England at the Stade de France, Paris. With a win France would win the Six Nations and complete a memorable Grand Slam (Grand Chelem).
With the home side already winning 23 - 13, Man of the Match Antoine Dupont scored the third and final try of the day. It came in the 62nd minute as he received the ball from Grégory Alldritt and burst through a couple of English tackles to run clear for the try. The final score was 25 - 13 to Le XV de France and they lifted the Six Nations trophy to a raucous home crowd.
