This print is the perfect gift for any Australian cricket fan as an iconic moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.

This edition illustrates the wagon wheel of all of the 201 runs scored by Glenn Maxwell for Australia against Afghanistan in the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India. Maxwell came to the crease in the ninth over to face a hat-trick ball from Azmatullah Omarzai with Australia 49-4 and needing 292 to progress to the semi-finals.

Maxwell survived but Australia were soon 91-7 and facing a humiliating defeat. However Maxwell had other ideas as he fought back with a truly stunning innings. With the support of captain Pat Cummins, Maxwell scored and incredible 201 runs from 128 balls smashing 21 fours and 10 sixes. During his innings he suffered from severe cramp and back pain so could not run and had to hit boundaries, often on only one leg! At the other end Cummins scored 12 runs as Maxwell took over in a match winning partnership of 202.

Australia won the game as Maxwell sent a six into the stands to complete his double hundred and a three wicket win with 19 balls to spare. On a magical night at the Wankhede Stadium the crowd erupted and were witness to arguably 'The Greatest Innings of All Time'.

Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
