This print is the perfect gift for any British hockey fan as an iconic moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.

The moment shown is the unforgettable third goal for Great Britain's mens hockey team against Germany in the Olympic final of the Seoul Games in 1988. After beating the tournament favourites Australia in the semi final 3-2 courtesy of a Sean Kerly hat-trick. Great Britain headed into the final against sporting rivals Germany. Kerly scored again and Imran Sherwani grabbed two in a 3-1 win to take the Gold medal. The third goal is the stuff of legend as Stephen Batchelor cut in from the wing and crossed between the German goalkeeper and defender for Sherwani to smash home.

The goal was the clincher and has become even more historic due to the brilliance of Barry Davies' commentary.

The title of the book ‘Where were the Germans? But frankly, who cares?’ is from the legendary BBC Commentator Barry Davies during the live coverage. It probably is his most famous moment and one that always makes me smile.

Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
