This version illustrates the late winner from substitute Iliman Ndiaye for Sheffield United against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup Fifth Round in 2023.
The Championship side shocked the Premier League opponents on a famous night at Bramall Lane. With the Blades manager Paul Heckingbottom banned from the touchline and eight players missing due to illness, the home side were up against it before the game even kicked off.
However United thoroughly deserved the win and grabbed the decisive goal in the 79th minute. Ndiaye had only been on the pitch for six minutes when he picked the ball up just inside the Spurs area before weaving past three Tottenham defenders and firing past Fraser Forster in the visiting teams goal.
The title of the book 'Wriggling through… and scoring!' is taken from the live BBC television commentary.
