This version illustrates the third goal in a remarkable comeback by Manchester City to seal the league title on the final day of the season. Needing to win to secure a fourth title in five seasons, City went 2 - 0 down against Aston Villa at the Etihad in the 69th minute when Philippe Coutinho added to Matty Cash's opener in the first half.
City then staged a quite stunning display to score three goals in five minutes. Ilkay Gundogan headed home in the 76th minute before Rodri smashed a low shot past Villa keeper Robin Olsen two minutes later. Then in the 81st minute the comeback was complete as Gundogan again popped up at the back post to stab home a brilliant Kevin De Bruyne cross.
City were Champions, pipping Liverpool to the title by a single point!
The title of the book “The King of Comebacks” is taken from the Sky Sports commentary.
