This print is the perfect gift for any Everton fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.

This version depicts the late equaliser for Everton against city rivals Liverpool in the last ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

On an emotional night for the home team, Liverpool arrived as Premier League leaders. The Toffees had started to pick up points since the return of David Moyes as manager and it was the home side who took an early lead when Beto ran on to Jarrad Branthwaite pass to slot home in the 11th minute. The Reds responded five minutes later with an Alexis Mac Allister header and the teams headed into the half time break level at 1-1.

Everton thought they had retaken the lead when Branthwaite smashed home in the 67th minute only for the goal to be disallowed for offside. It was the visitors who would take the lead as Mo Salah finished at the far post in the 73rd minute to give Liverpool a 2-1 lead.

Deep into injury time Vitalii Mykolenko looped the ball into the area. The ball bounced over four players before Tim Iroegbunam flicked the ball on to the onrushing James Tarkowski. The Blues defender lashed the ball into the roof of the net to send the Evertonians wild. The final whistle blew as Everton celebrated a dramatic late comeback.

The drama was far from over as Abdoulaye Doucoure taunted the Liverpool fans. Curtis Jones confronted the Everton man and a brawl ensued, both players were given red cards even though the full time whistle had blown. The red card was also shown to Liverpool boss Arne Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff as they confronted the officials complaining that the equaliser should not have stood.

So the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park will live long in the memory as four goals, four red cards and dramatic last gasp goal brought the curtain down on this historic fixture at The Grand Old Lady.
