An iconic cricket moment is captured in this eye catching poster.
Jonny Bairstow smashed an unforgettable 136 runs against New Zealand at Trent Bridge in 2022. On the final day of an enthralling Test Match England needed and improbable 299 to win and seal the series. This however was the 'new' England under the leadership of Test captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum. England were 56 - 3 when Bairstow walked to the crease and what followed will never be forgotten.
Bairstow smashed a Test century in 77 balls, falling one short of the England record for the fastest Test Century. The record held by Gilbert Jessop with a 76 ball century for England v Australia at The Oval in 1902 will have to wait for another day! Bairstow also hit 14 fours and seven sixes in his 92 ball masterclass. Trent Boult finally found the edge of Bairstow's bat, who was caught behind by Tom Blundell reducing England to 272 - 5. All that remained was for captain Stokes with the help of Ben Foakes to smash the final 27 runs on an unforgettable day of Test cricket.
The poster shows all 92 balls faced by Jonny Bairstow.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
