Kanu Hat Trick - Arsenal winner v Chelsea in 1999 - Chelsea 2 Arsenal 3 - Classic Book Cover Goal Print - Wall Decor Poster (Various sizes)
This print is the perfect gift for any Arsenal fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This version depicts the late winner scored by Nwankwo Kanu for Arsenal against Chelsea in the Premier League in 1999.
At a rain soaked Stamford Bridge, Chelsea looked to be heading for victory after Tore Andre Flo and Dan Petrescu had put them 2-0 up.
However with 15 minutes remaining Kanu pulled one back for the Gunners and then in the 83rd minute he struck again to level the game.
Chelsea were in shock and it got worse as the Nigerian blocked a clearance on the wing in the 90th minute before rounding Ed De Goey (who had made a crazy decision to tackle the Nigerian outside of his area) before curling the ball over two despairing Chelsea defenders into the net from a tight angle.
Arsenal had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in a remarkable match that will live long in the memory.
The title of the book 'Kanu believe it?' is taken from the match day commentary by Martin Tyler.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
