This version illustrates the last minute winner scored by Pablo Hernández as Leeds United all but secured a return to the Premier League after a 16 year wait.
In a classic attack from one end of the pitch to the other with wing backs heavily involved, it was a perfect example of Bielsa Ball. The phrase used to describe the attacks created by teams managed by Argentinian legend, Marcelo Bielsa.
In the final minute of a crucial away game at Swansea City, Championship leaders Leeds United started an attack in their own box. With the game deadlocked at 0-0 it was maybe the final chance to push for a winner.
Kalvin Phillips played the ball out wide to Luke Ayling who ran forward toward the half way line before passing inside to Mateusz Klich. Klich played the ball out wide to Hélder Costa who drove toward the Swansea City penalty area. He then slotted a ball through for the onrushing Ayling who had sprinted the full length of the pitch. Ayling pulled the ball back from the byline to Pablo Hernández via a deflection off Ben Cabango. Hernández swept the ball home via the post and Leeds United had one foot in the Premier League.
