The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Main theme by Ennio Morricone - Movie Classics Poster - Sheet Music Art - Sergio Leone (Various Sizes)

I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.

This edition illustrates the stunning music from the classic Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' by Ennio Morricone. Perhaps his most famous piece of music and iconic with movie fans across the world.

Although the music for the gripping final scene is actually another fantastic theme, Il Triello (The Trio), I have used the Main Theme that is used throughout the movie and the one that most people associate with the film. I may illustrate the same poster using the sheet music of Il Triello in the future.

The scene depicted is the amazing Mexican Standoff in the cemetery between Clint Eastwood as Blondie (The Good), Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes (the Bad) and of course Eli Wallach as Tuco (The Ugly). If you look hard enough you may be able to find the grave marked 'Unknown' where the money is hidden.

Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
