This print is the perfect gift for any Peterborough United fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This version depicts Garry Kimble's winner for the Posh against the mighty Liverpool in the League Cup Fourth Round in 1991. The goal was scored in the 19th minute when Bruce Grobbelaar failed to catch a cross and fumbled the ball to Kimble who smashed home.
The Reds managed by Graeme Souness fielded a strong team including Steve Nicol, Mark Wright, Dean Saunders, Ray Houghton, Steve McManaman and Jan Molby. Minutes after the opening goal Grobbelaar made a fantastic save pushing Charlery's shot onto the crossbar and Peterborough caused the Merseysiders problems all night. The crowd erupted at a sold out London Road when the full time whistle blew as Chris Turner's side knocked out one of English footballs giants.
The title of the book "It falls for Kimble… it’s there!" is taken from the match day commentary.
