This version depicts the equalising goal by QPR legend Rodney Marsh in the 1967 League Cup Final at Wembley Stadium against West Bromwich Albion. QPR (a then Third division club and massive underdog) had trailed West Brom 2-0 at half time. Rangers (in an all white kit) stormed back in the second half with goals from Roger Morgan and Rodney Marsh before Mark Lazarus scored the winner with 9 minutes remaining. It still remains the only major trophy that the R's have won but lives on in QPR legend.

The title of the book “Oh it’s a goal... a great goal!” is taken from the brilliant commentary by Kenneth Wolstenholme.
