This print is the perfect gift for any Queens Park Rangers fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This version illustrates the late winner in the 2003 Second Division Semi Final Play Off 2nd Leg at Loftus Road. The match between QPR and Oldham Athletic was a tense affair after the first leg had ended all square at 1-1. It wasn't until the 82nd minute when the deadlock was broken. Clarke Carlisle played a ball through the middle for Paul Furlong to chase. Furlong was first to meet the bouncing ball and headed it down in front of him. Competing with Fitz Hall into the area, Furlong outmuscled his opponent and finished superbly past Les Pogliacomi. Ian Holloway's men were heading to the Millennium Stadium to play Cardiff City in the Second Division Play Off Final.
The title of the book “Away from Hall… Furlonnnnnnnng!” is taken from the live match day commentary.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
