This print is the perfect gift for any Republic of Ireland fan as an iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This version illustrates the 94th minute equaliser from John O'Shea for the Republic of Ireland against Germany in a Euro 2016 qualifier at the Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen.
World Champions Germany were firm favourites to win the match and took a 71st minute lead through Toni Kroos. The Irish never gave up and in the final minute of injury time Wes Hoolahan played a ball into the area. The ball looked to be overhit but Jeff Hendrick somehow hooked the ball back for John O'Shea to flick home. It was only the third International goal scored by O'Shea on his 100th appearance for the boys in green! The final whistle blew and the travelling fans celebrated long and hard into the German night.
The title of the book “Germany 1 Republic of Ireland 1” is the final score of the match.
Each poster will be printed, lovingly wrapped and securely sealed into a postal tube before being safely delivered to your door!
