This print is the perfect gift for any Scottish Rugby fan as an iconic rugby moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This edition illustrates the fantastic second try scored by Stuart Hogg for Scotland against Ireland in the 2017 Six Nations Championship. Scotland started the game strongly and Hogg was the star as he crossed the line twice in the first 21 minutes. His first try was scored as the Scots worked the ball across the pitch and Hogg collected an awkward pass to cross in the corner. It was surpassed by his second when Hogg received a pass and powered up the left wing, sold a clever dummy out wide before finishing to bring the Murrayfield crowd to it's feet. Ireland hit back with a try by Keith Earls but Alex Dunbar put the Scots 21-5 up. Ireland kicked a penalty and the half time whistle blew with Scotland holding a 21 - 8 lead. Ireland fought back in the second half with tries from Iain Henderson and Paddy Jackson to lead 21 - 22 in the 63rd minute. With only a point separating the sides it was a nerve racking final 15 minutes. It was Scotland's Greig Laidlaw who was the match winner with two late penalties in the 73rd and 80th minute to give the men in blue a memorable victory.
The title of the book 'Scotland 27 Ireland 22' is the final score of the match.
