The moment illustrated is the final penalty kicked from 49 metres out by a young François Steyn in the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final in France. It was the final score in a tight match between England and South Africa, in which the Springboks ran out 15 - 6 winners. Both teams failed to score a try in the game with Percy Montgomery scoring four penalties to Jonny Wilkinsons two before Steyn scored the games final points. England had controversially had a try disallowed early in the second half when Mark Cueto was adjudged to have stepped out just before grounding the ball. However it was South Africa who secured the Webb Ellis Cup for the second time in their history.
