In a Euro 2024 group match it was the home side who took the lead when Erling Haaland converted a spot kick in the 61st minute.
With only three minutes remaining Scotland grabbed an equaliser as Lyndon Dykes pounced on a mistake in the box. Scotland were not finished and they pushed forward for a late winner.
Amazingly the goal came in the 89th minute as John McGinn squared a cross field ball from Scott McTominay to Dykes. The number nine laid the ball into the path of the onrushing McLean who curled a beautiful shot past Ørjan Nyland in the Norwegian goal.
Scotland had done it... the final whistle blew and the Tartan Army could celebrate a perfect start of three wins out of three in their qualifying group. The goal would later be voted the Scotland Men's Goal of the Year for 2023.
