The Owls fought back to 2-2 with goals just before half time and in the 65th minute. The Blades however would not be denied and just one minute and 47 seconds after the equaliser Mark Duffy drilled home United's third of the day. The final goal, and United's fourth, came in the 77th minute as Clarke scored his second of the match to round off a truly memorable day for the Red and White half of Sheffield.
