This version depicts the dramatic late goal by Shane Long for Southampton against Liverpool at Anfield which took the Saints into the EFL Cup Final in 2017. Southampton had a slender first leg lead after winning 1-0 at St Mary's thanks to a Nathan Redmond strike. On a night of high drama at Anfield with the game locked at 0-0 Liverpool were on the attack. Southampton broke from their own penalty area in the 91st minute to surge upfield and take the game 1-0 (2-0 on aggregate). The counter attack was swift and deadly as Josh Sims ran the ball 70 yards before sliding in Shane Long with a perfect pass. Long took one touch and drilled home the winner to send the Saints fans wild. It booked Southampton there first League Cup Final appearance since 1979.
