I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.

The third in the series is the main theme from the Star Wars movies by one of the greatest film composers of all time, John Williams. The main score which is used in all the Star Wars movies was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The poster depicts the final destruction of the Death Star in Star Wars VI - Return of the Jedi, as the Millennium Falcon just escapes the fireball piloted by Lando Calrissian.
