This version illustrates the second goal for Stevenage against Newcastle United in the FA Cup in 2011. It was revenge for Borough after being controversially knocked out of the same competition in 1998 by the Premier League side. League Two Stevenage Borough outclassed their top flight opponents on a memorable day at Broadhall Way. After a goaless first half Borough took control early in the second period. Stacy Long's shot ended up in the Newcastle net after taking a big deflection off Mike Williamson in the 50th minute. Five minutes later Michael Bostwick smashed home a shot off the post to double the lead. Newcastle then were reduced to 10 men in the 58th minute before pulling a goal back in the 92nd when Barton crashed home an unstoppable drive. Stevenage were not to be denied as they broke away in the 93rd minute. Peter Winn cooly dinked the ball over Tim Krul to secure a famous 3-1 win.
