I am creating a series of posters in a range called “Movie Classics”. The theme (excuse the pun!) is showing the sheet music of the main title in an illustrative way and celebrating the brilliant composers behind many of the big screens great motion pictures.

This edition showcases the beautiful 'I'm Forrest… Forrest Gump' a.k.a 'The Feather Theme' from the 1994 box office smash Forrest Gump. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks the movie went on to win 6 Academy Awards. The score for the film was composed and conducted by the hugely talented Alan Silvestri.

The theme illustrated is used in the opening sequence as a single white feather dances in the breeze and lands at the feet of Forrest.
