This print is the perfect gift for any England cricket fan as an iconic moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
This edition illustrates all seven Tom Hartley wickets for 62 runs against India in the First Test in Hyderabad in 2023.
England had recovered from a first innings deficit of 190 runs in the second innings to post 420 after a stunning 196 from Ollie Pope. It meant that India required 261 to win the first of five Test matches.
Debutant spinner Hartley soon got to work and reduced India from 42-0 to 95-4 with some amazing bowling. Captain Ben Stokes produced a sublime piece of fielding to run out Ravindra Jadeja with an underarm throw at the stumps. India had fallen to 119-7 but a late fightback drew them closer to a win. Needing 28 runs for victory with only one wicket remaining Siraj tried to smash a Hartley delivery to the boundary but missed the ball and Foakes cleaned up his stumps.
England had won in India where the hosts had lost only three of their previous 46 home Tests! Ben Stokes claimed after the match that it was 'our greatest triumph since I have been captain' and who could argue with him.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
