West Ham goal in 1975 Cup Final - Alan Taylor Print - Classic Book Cover Poster - Football Gift (Various Sizes)
This poster is the perfect gift for any West Ham fan.
An iconic football moment is captured in this classic book cover poster. This version depicts Alan Taylor’s first goal for West Ham United versus Fulham in the 1975 FA Cup Final at Wembley. The Irons ran out 2-0 winners with both goals coming from Taylor. The Hammers yet again fielded an all English starting eleven (as they did in 1964). West Ham captain Billy Bonds lifted the Cup on a day when Hammers legend Bobby Moore played for the opposition in his last ever Wembley appearance as a player.
The title of the book ‘Straight through the goalkeeper’ is taken from the BBC commentary by David Coleman as Taylor’s shot was powered under the Fulham goalie Peter Mellor.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.
