Carlos Brathwaite four sixes in a row - West Indies v England - T20 World Cup Final 2016 - Remember the name - Cricket Print - Various Sizes
This print is the perfect gift for any West Indies Cricket fan as an iconic moment is captured in this classic book cover poster.
The moment illustrated is when the West Indies needed 19 runs in the final over to win the 2016 World Twenty20 Final against England. In front of 66,000 fans at Eden Gardens, Kolkata it looked as though England were heading for victory with Ben Stokes bowling the final over.
England had scored an impressive 155/9 and with only six balls remaining had the West Indies on 137/6. Carlos Brathwaite had other ideas as the first ball was smashed leg side for a six. The second ball was heaved for another maximum and the third ball crashed for yet another six runs down the ground. Amazingly the scores were now tied with three balls remaining, all the West Indies needed for a famous win was a single. Brathwaite however blasted yet another six to the leg side as the crowd erupted and the West Indies team celebrated their second World Twenty20 title.
The title of the poster 'Remember the name!' is taken from the famous live television commentary by ex-West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop on Sky Sports.
